Dragons: A Fantasy Made Real was a programme made for Animal Planet, and became the most watched show in the history of the channel.

The idea behind the two hour documentary was that dragons may have actually existed at the same time as dinosaurs. Voiced by Patrick Stewart, the setting is the Carpathian mountains of Romania as a groups of scientists investigate the discovery of a what seems to be an ancient dragon. At first sceptical that it may be a fake, they carefully examine the evidence, only to come to the conclusion that what they are actually dealing with is, in fact, a very real dragon!
