This
robotic head-form was designed and made for the Ministry of
Defense for respirator evaluation. The head took seven months
to develop and can be attached to a breathing machine. The head
is moved by thirteen servos controlled by a computer and can
be programmed to perform a vast range natural human head movements.
There is also a dialogue sequence that the head will mime to
and these movements test whether the locus of a respirator is
compromised through these general head movements.
