Another Walking With Dinosaurs special, The Giant Claw features zoologist and adventurer Nigel Marven going back 75 million years on a pre-historic safari in search of the legendary Therizinosaurus, one of the most bizarre creatures ever to walk the earth, and owner of the largest claws of all time.

Therizinosaurus was a gigantic dinosaur walking on two legs, weighing in at five tonnes and with claws almost a metre long. Nigel's embarks on a pre-historic safari that finds him negotiating vast nesting sites, seeing off curious Velociraptors and attempting to avoid the terrifying Tarbosaurus. Eventually he is rewarded as he discovers the true identity of the giant claw.
